If the sensor output is interlaced and the data format is YUV, and the data bypasses the ISP and is directly sent to the G510 Yocto H.264 encoder, will H.264 be able to encode it correctly?

Hi @Victor_Lin ,

The Genio 510 H.264 hardware encoder is designed exclusively for progressive video encoding. If your sensor outputs interlaced content, you must de-interlace it first before passing it to the VENC. The output will always be a standard progressive H.264 bitstream without MBAFF/PAFF.
