Yocto G720 do not support MT6637 by default. There is no plan for supporting MT6637 for G720 Yocto.

For MT7921, please refer to the online doc.

I think you should provide logs (dmesg, kernel log, and etc.) for this issue. Otherwise no one could help your problem. Provide more logs will also help other people to check if they have the same problem you’ve encountered.

All MT6637 firmware/software stacks are proprietary and not compatible to GPL v2. So it cannot support Ubuntu and IOT Yocto.
