IoT Yocto v25.1.1 is a minor release based on v25.1:
- Add support for Genio 420 (MT8371 LV)
- Add support for DPoC (DisplayPort over USB Type-C) for Genio 420/520/720
along with BSP bug fixes, notably:
- [AUTO00842071][Genio 720] System unstable when looping glmark2 benchmarks
- [ALPS10636360][Genio 720] Kernel error and shutdown while executing certain Neuron runtime model

Key Highlights for v25.1.1 and v25.1:
- New SoC Support : Support for Genio 420(MT8371 LV), Genio 520 (MT8371) and Genio 720 (MT8391) families.
- Shared BSP : Genio 420, Genio 520 and Genio 720 share the same prebuilt image. The bootloader also detects DRAM type and size automatically.
- AI & Browser : Integration of ONNX Runtime (with NPU acceleration for G420/G520/720) and updated Chromium browser.
- LTS Updates : Upgraded to Linux Kernel 6.6.92 and Yocto Scarthgap 5.0.12.
IoT Yocto v25.1.1 prebuilt images for Genio EVK boards are also available for download.
The Get Started guide has been updated with instructions for Genio 520/720 EVK.
Genio Tools v1.7 is also released to support image flashing for Genio 520/720 EVK, in addition to previous Genio SoCs.
