Query on U-Boot Boot Logo Support for Genio 520/720 – Planned Release Timeline

Hi MediaTek Community,

I was going through the MediaTek IoT Yocto display documentation:
Display Common Documentation

It is mentioned that U-Boot boot logo support is currently not available for Genio 520-EVK and Genio 720-EVK, and that porting is being planned.

Additionally, in the latest Yocto release (v25.1), it is also stated that:

  • Boot logo and bootloader display driver are not supported for Genio 520/720 in this release

I would like to understand:

:backhand_index_pointing_right: Is there any tentative release (e.g., v25.x or later) where U-Boot boot logo support is expected to be available for Genio 520/720?
