Yes. You can have dual display enabled.

To do that, you have to follow the “Appendix A: How To Add Device-Tree Overlays” in the release note to add required dtbos in u-boot. Or, you need to update the list_dtbo variable in u-boot-initial-env file in the boot assets.

BTW, we have recently updated beta release here. If possible, please use the latest image.
