What is the longevity and supply plan for Genio SoC?

Hi,

I am currently evaluating the Genio SoC for use in a new embedded product line aimed at industrial applications. One of our key concerns is ensuring the long-term availability and stable supply of the SoC, as our products typically have a long market lifespan and require consistent sourcing for many years. Could you please share details on MediaTek’s policy regarding the longevity and supply of the Genio family, specifically the Genio 700? Any information about product lifecycle, End-of-Life notifications, or available longevity programs would be greatly appreciated.

MediaTek is committed to providing long-term availability for all Genio SoC products to support industrial and embedded applications. Typically, the product lifecycle for Genio SoCs is at least 10 years from their initial release. MediaTek also provides End-of-Life (EOL) notifications at least 12 months in advance, giving customers time to plan accordingly. For the most up-to-date lifecycle details or availability programs, it is best to contact MediaTek directly or reach out to their authorized distributors.

Hope this helps!
