Build Requirement

  must be Ubuntu 24.04? or other ubuntu(22.04 18.04)
  if must be ubuntu 24.04 ,kernel must be 6.8.XX?

ubuntu kernels are compiled and verified within their corresponding ubuntu series. for example, the 24.04 noble mediatek kernel is built in a noble host environment. while the kernel version of the host machine is not a strict requirement, the rests are.

So Ubuntu 24.04 with kernel 6.17.0-23-generic is also OK ?

should be okay.
i’d recommend spinning up a noble lxd container. then you don’t need to worry about the host’s os version at all.
