Hi there,
Currently, I have been working with IoT Yocto and Genio platforms.
According to the online document, the SerDes (Virtual Channel) is supported.
How many cameras are supported through virtual channels in each Genio platforms?
Can you provide more information on this and kindly share the documents if available.
Thanks.
Hi @andrew.hess,
Thank you for your question regarding SerDes (Virtual Channel) support on Genio platforms.
Please find the details below:
-
Genio 350: This platform supports only 2 cameras (camsv), and currently, the driver does not support virtual channels.
-
Genio 510/700: These platforms support up to 8 virtual channels (VCs), allowing for 8 cameras to operate through virtual channels.
-
Genio 520/720: Both platforms can support configurations of either 4+2 or 3+3 VCs. We are planning to add support for the 4+2 device tree overlay (dtbo) soon.
-
Genio 1200: This platform supports up to 6 cameras via virtual channels.
The number of cameras supported through virtual channels are mentioned in aiot-dev-guide:
Hope this helps!
