What are the support policy for the meta layers in IoT Yocto?
For example, IoT Yocto v24.1 is currently compatible to Yocto 4.0 Kirkstone.
Will IoT Yocto support Yocto 5.0 Scarthgap? or 5.2 Walnascar?

According to MediaTek’s documentation on Yocto, Yocto Scarthgap seems to be now supported.
You can try by syncing your repos to tag rity-scarthgap-v25.0.
repo init -u https://gitlab.com/mediatek/aiot/bsp/manifest.git -b refs/tags/rity-scarthgap-v25.0
